
Home-style Tofu Recipe

- ·100g Lean meat
Additional Ingredients
- ·30g each Green and red peppers
- ·15ml Water starch
- ·10g garlic
- ·10g ginger
- ·10g chopped green onion
Seasonings
- ·20g Bean paste
- ·10ml Cooking wine
- ·10ml Light Soy Sauce
- ·5g sugar
- ·3g Salt
- ·50g fungus
DIRECTIONS
Step 1
Prepare ingredients and fry tofu: Cut tofu into triangular pieces and slice lean meat. Heat oil in a pan until 60% hot, fry tofu over low heat for 3-5 minutes until it floats, remove from oil and drain.
Step 2
Stir-fry the seasonings: Leave some oil in the pan, add garlic, ginger, and chopped green onions, and stir-fry over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Step 3
Stir-fry the bean paste and minced meat: Add the bean paste, stir-fry over low heat for 2-3 minutes to produce red oil, then add the lean meat slices, stir-fry over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until cooked through.
Step 4
Seasoning and adding fungus: Add cooking wine, light soy sauce, sugar and salt in turn, stir-fry evenly, then add the soaked fungus and stir-fry over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
Step 5
Return to the pan with tofu and green and red peppers: Add the fried tofu cubes, green and red peppers, stir-fry over medium heat for 3-5 minutes to fully blend the tofu and green and red peppers.
Step 6
Thicken and brighten: Add water starch, stir-fry quickly and evenly to make the soup slightly thicker. Finally, add cooking oil and stir-fry for half a minute to brighten the color.
Step 7
Remove from the pan and serve: Remove the fried home-style tofu from the pan, serve on a plate and enjoy.
