Process ingredients:

Tip:
Red beans can be soaked for 2 - 3 hours in advance to make them softer and shorten the cooking time.
Step 2
Cook red beans:
Add 400 milliliters of clear water to the pot. Then pour in the washed red beans. Add 2 grams of edible alkali. Then cook on low heat for 1.5 hours. After cooking, turn off the heat and take it out. Mash it into a fine red bean paste and set aside.
Step 3
Steam glutinous rice:

Put the glutinous rice on it and spread it evenly to facilitate the subsequent filling operation. Flour can prevent glutinous rice from sticking to the cutting board.
Step 5
Roll the cake roll:
Evenly add a layer of the prepared red bean paste on the spread glutinous rice. Then carefully roll the glutinous rice into a strip from top to bottom. Press it firmly while rolling to make the cake roll tighter and prevent it from coming apart.
