Simple Shrimp Fried Rice Recipe
Among the countless dishes I've tried, shrimp with rice stands out with its extraordinary charm. It's not just an ordinary combo. Whether you're a busy professional needing a quick meal or a kitchen novice wanting to impress, this recipe is perfect for you.
INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- ·300g Leftover Rice
- ·150g shrimp
Additional Ingredients
- ·50g green peas
- ·80g diced sausage
- ·1 egg
Seasonings
- ·20ml cooking wine
- ·5g salt
- ·3g chicken bouillon
- ·10ml scallion oil
DIRECTIONS
Step 1
Slice the shrimp in half lengthwise. Prepare the cooked green peas and diced sausage.
Step 2
Place the Leftover Rice in a bowl. Separate the egg yolk from the egg white and mix the yolk into the rice. If desired, add a little cooking wine to reduce any fishy smell. Mix well so the yolk coats the rice.
Step 3
Boil water in a pot, adding cooking wine and salt. Cook the shrimp until they turn pink, then remove and drain. Heat the green peas by rinsing them in hot water.
Step 4
Clean the pan and heat some oil. Cook the egg white until done, then set aside.
Step 5
In the same pan, add a little oil and the rice. Use high heat and stir continuously. Press down on the rice with a spoon to separate the grains and allow the yolk to penetrate. Cook until the yolk is set and the rice grains are distinct.
Step 6
Add the shrimp, green peas, and diced sausage to the pan.
Step 7
Season with salt and chicken bouillon. Add a bit of scallion oil and continue to stir-fry until everything is well mixed. Serve and enjoy!
